I was born in the year of the Water-Hare in Finland, and since 1985 I have been living in Denmark.

My first encounter with Tibetan Astrology was in 1991, when I met professor Jampa G. Dagthon in Copenhagen. He told me to study astrology, but at that time the thought was unthinkable and he might just as well have told me to travel to Mars.

However, he was right. Three years later I began studying Western Astrology, and I have since become an examinated Diploma Astrologer at the Irene Christensen Instituttet in Copenhagen.

In 1996-1997 I spent 9 months in Dharamsala, North India, where I studied Tibetan elemental astrology under guidance of mr. Jhampa Kalsang, a lecturer from the Men-Tsee-Khang Astro. Department. The basic material in the Elemental Horoscope section of this web site comes from those teachings. But I have also found to be most instructive a 10-Day Course in English on Tibetan Astro. Science, which was held in October 1996 by Men-Tsee-Khang. Several other people with knowledge in Tibetan astrology have helped me and to them I am very grateful.

In 2002 I completed my graduate studies at the University of Roskilde in Communication, including studies in Modern Culture and Cultural Promotion in the University of Copenhagen.
